Oh, The Temptation from Steve V on Vimeo.
A fine definition of how delaying gratification can give you so much more. Either way, whatever our choices might be, God gives. It is only up to us if we choose to have more. 🙂
Ever so often whenever I’m caught up in a conversation relating to my relationship status, my answers always lead up to a shrug off sort of “dadatiing din yan” statements, as if I don’t really care. The truth blob, is that I do. After all, I am just a girl who fantasizes to be swept off of my feet once again. You see, I have been single for some time now and people are asking (I think out of curiosity) “why?” what are you looking for?” “what are you waiting for?” Kung kayo nagtataka, e ano nalang ako! kalerky!
I have a theory. There are no real battles except the ones we have with ourselves. (Black swan? haha) Ang point: Kung gusto may paraan, kung ayaw may dahilan. Whenever I think that I am ready to fall in love again, I usually catch myself ducking out fast and heading the other way out. Disturbing. And maybe that’s the thing, I think too much and there’s the need to let loose (I swear, Black Swan talaga ito! hahaha).
Fact: I expect too much. A thing I also do to friends, family, and EVEN myself.
Project: To expect less, flow, and treasure what’s here.
Let’s see how this goes. Shall we? WE SHALL!
Hey, good luck with yours. 🙂
The easiest people to get annoyed at is family. You have to agree. I’m sure you have an experience where you go to your friend’s house and then this person starts yelling at a family member then turns to you with the sweetest voice “come on in, you must be starving.” Haha! Maybe it’s because of the comfortability that overruns the respect… I don’t know, but I for one is guilty of this especially with my younger sister. Aminado! 🙂
I’ve realized traveling is not a luxury. It is a necessity. It gives you time off to reboot the state of body and mind. You realize things, you learn, and most importantly it gives back stronger relationships. There’s always a need for change and you know you’ll never be the same person again after a travel. My sisters and I make it a point to travel even once a year. Just the three of us. Last year, we went to Mt. Pulag (Philippine’s second highest peak) and this year March, we went to Hong Kong.
Getting ready. This is after the seminar. Fres. No idea it’s gonna get gruesome!
New found friends! Kung wala sila, wala kami!
We did it! Both my sisters have their periods that time and one even had bouts of nausea and vomiting BUT WE DID IT!!! Define test of character.
The photo don’t do justice.
I miss you mt. pulag and manong guide. Kumo-congresswoman pose! haha!
Heng Keng!

RESPECT to the other person playing, to the music that keeps you going, to the art that gives meaning, and to the God who gives us the beautiful game of capoeira. – dadinha
